The closing of the year

A new year is upon us. A time for new beginnings. I'm ready for whatever God has in store for me for 2012. In 2011, God has not ceased to prove himself faithful to me time and time again! Where would I be without God's mercy and grace? I shudder to think of life without Jesus. He is truly my best friend.

Ok, so it's been way too long since I updated this thing.  Life gets you so busy, sometimes we just need to take the time to slow down and enjoy the ride.  God has been so good to me.  I could never ever ever thank Him enough for all He's done for me.  I feel like I fail him so much, but his love and mercy just keeps picking me up pushing me on. 

I would like to wish all of my friends and family a VERY Merry Christmas.  Think of where we would be today, if that precious baby boy had not grown up to become a man and carry the weight of ALL our sin upon his back, and even better, RISE AGAIN, that we might have eternal life.

Yes, times are very hard right now, and sometimes I think Lord, am I gonna make it, this is so hard, But God's grace is sufficient for every need in our lives.

Don't Give Up

Sorry it's been a little while since I've last updated.  We stay so busy with work and church activities, but  I love it. 

Lately, I've just wanted to tell every christian that I know, DON'T GIVE UP. Wow, so many are giving up on God and walking away from their first love.  It breaks my heart because now is certaintly not the time to give up.  Don't get me wrong, I KNOW times are hard, but we must keep on fighting.  We must now quit fighting until we make it to Heaven.  Jesus will be our strength and help every step of the way.

Though the storm rages all around you, hold on to Jesus.  He will not leave you or fail you!

Is Anything too hard for God?

I sung this song last night during the altar service at church and it's been on my mind ever since.  Sometimes its so hard to get through our human minds that there is absolutely NOTHING too hard for God.  The Bible says Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today, and FOREVER!!!  We sometimes will see a miracle, but then another situation will come along, and we forget how God preformed miracles for us in the past.  At least I know I do sometimes..I will think well Lord, how in the world can you ever work this one out?  But the thing is, it doesn't matter HOW he works it out, but just to know that He WILL work it out.  You better know that if you are a child of God, he's got your needs in mind, and He is working on your behalf even when you can't see Him working.  I pray all the time, Lord increase my faith because the Bible says Without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please him.  I sure want to please Him, so therefore I must have faith in Him.  Do you have a situation in your life that looks absolutely hopeless?  Are you wondering if God can do anything for your situation? Just as sure as you are breathing, He can work it all out.  Put your problem in the hands of God, and let go of it.  Don't try to help God work it out.  Let him work it out according to His Perfect will.......

Wow, what a mighty move of God we had at our church last night.  God is moving in some awesome ways at Elba Deliverance Tabernacle.  I'm so thankful to be a part of a church that is not afraid to obey God. 

God's people have let the devil run them over for too long.  It's time we stand our ground against the enemey and take back whatever he has stolen from us.  We belong to God, and the devil ain't got no business running our lives.

Stay with God, dont' back down.  Heaven will be worth it all someday!

Lets Carry The Water

Bro. Brian Flowers preached at our church this past Wed Night, and he preached on "Lets Carry The Water".  This world is sooooooo thirsty for true living water. Alot of them do not realize that it's Jesus who can quench their thirsty soul.  Lord help us all to go out to this lost and dying world, and tell them that there is hope and that there's a God in Heaven who loves them and cares about them.  Jesus wants them all.  No matter who they are, or what they have done, He wants to save them.  Let's carry the water wherever we go today and for the rest of our lives.

Hello Everyone!!!

I just wanted to start blogging to share some of my thoughts and also share things God is doing in mine and my husband's lives.  We are so thankful to God for all of His blessings.  Without him, we could not take one step.  He is my everything.

Well we have been married almost a year now, and wow what a journey.  We've had a lot of both wonderful and trying times since we said, I DO, but God has been with us every step of the way.The devil hates Gods will and will do anything he can to try to stop God's will, but Im here to say today, that Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.  God has proved himself to us time and time again.

If you are not married, pray earnestly and seek Gods perfect will for your husband or wife to be.  Don't settle for anyone less than God's very best for you.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God  and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. This was a hard verse for me to really get through my head for several years, but putting God first and not worrying is the best thing you can do.  Focus on God, and everything esle will fall into place.
