JOY

Such a small 3 letter word, but it's been burning on my heart for severl days now.  Some people think that Christians are always supposed to be happy. But truth is, circumstances arise sometimes, that makes us NOT happy! But we CAN have the joy of the Lord in our heart.  The Bible tells us in Nehemiah that the JOY of the Lord is our strength, and then in Psalms it tells us that in God's prescence there is fulness of JOY!  Even on bad days, and during difficult times,we can still have the joy of the Lord in our hearts! True joy comes from Jesus.  True joy doesn't depend upon our circumstances but it does depend on who we have living on the inside!   Talk to God daily, get in his prescence, and you will have JOY, which in turn will give you strength!!!

Bye Bye Discouragement

Discouragement, if you look all around you, yep, you'll get discouraged.  If you're doing a work for God, yeah, at times you're going to feel like you're not doing anything, and you will get discouraged.  But that's exactly what the enemey wants.  The bible tells us to lift up our eyes unto the hills from whence coemth our help.  Our help cometh from the Lord!! Anything you do for God is NOT in vain.  You may not see results you want to see in this life, but as long as you are working for God with all your heart, you ARE making a difference.  So c'mon get up, just like the song Bro. Ronny Knopp wrote, and oh it's blessed my heart, We've got to get up and work for God with all of our heart even when we dont feel like it.  By the way if you want to check out the knopps their website is http://www.knoppmusicministries.com/  They are an anointed group that will bless your heart.

God is good!!

I just want to start out by saying GOD IS GOOD!! Whether you are in the valley or on the mountain top, whether you are sick, or whether you are well, whether you have money in the bank, or whether you don't, GOD IS STILL GOOD!!! God's goodness does not depend on our cirumstances or surroundings, but on WHO HE IS! He holds this whole world in his hands, including me and you.  He knows just how many hairs are on our heads.. He knows every tear that falls from our eyes.  He is GOD!!!!! So if you're going through a valley today, just remember, God loves you and cares about your every need.  He is working in your life, even when you don't see it.  Hold your head up, Child of God for your God is GOOD!!

The closing of the year

A new year is upon us. A time for new beginnings. I'm ready for whatever God has in store for me for 2012. In 2011, God has not ceased to prove himself faithful to me time and time again! Where would I be without God's mercy and grace? I shudder to think of life without Jesus. He is truly my best friend.

Merry Christmas

Ok, so it's been way too long since I updated this thing.  Life gets you so busy, sometimes we just need to take the time to slow down and enjoy the ride.  God has been so good to me.  I could never ever ever thank Him enough for all He's done for me.  I feel like I fail him so much, but his love and mercy just keeps picking me up pushing me on. 

I would like to wish all of my friends and family a VERY Merry Christmas.  Think of where we would be today, if that precious baby boy had not grown up to become a man and carry the weight of ALL our sin upon his back, and even better, RISE AGAIN, that we might have eternal life.

Yes, times are very hard right now, and sometimes I think Lord, am I gonna make it, this is so hard, But God's grace is sufficient for every need in our lives.

Don't Give Up

Sorry it's been a little while since I've last updated.  We stay so busy with work and church activities, but  I love it. 

Lately, I've just wanted to tell every christian that I know, DON'T GIVE UP. Wow, so many are giving up on God and walking away from their first love.  It breaks my heart because now is certaintly not the time to give up.  Don't get me wrong, I KNOW times are hard, but we must keep on fighting.  We must now quit fighting until we make it to Heaven.  Jesus will be our strength and help every step of the way.

Though the storm rages all around you, hold on to Jesus.  He will not leave you or fail you!
